God did not make life in a simple form and allow it to evolve into more complex forms. Instead, he created basic “kinds” of complex plants and animals, which then reproduced “according to their kinds.” ( Genesis 1:11, 21, 24 ) This process, which continues today, has resulted in the earth being filled with the same “kinds” of life that God originally created.
The Bible does not specify how much variation can occur within a kind, as might result when animals within a kind interbreed and adapt to their environment. While some view such adaptations as a form of evolution, no new kind of life is produced. Modern research supports the idea that the basic categories of plants and animals have changed little over vast periods of time.
The Bible’s scientific accuracy in describing basic “kinds” of life strengthens its credibility in other areas, including history and prophecy.

Thus, the kick in the butt from WTBTS (WT, January 15, 2014, pages 22-26):

2 Many Christians in their 50’s and older still have plenty of vigor. They may have some gray hair, but likely they do not yet have the frail health described by Solomon.
9 The apostle Peter may have been over 50 when he moved to where the need was greater.
10 Today, many Christians in their 50’s and older find that their circumstances have changed and that they are able to serve Jehovah in new ways.
14 Although many Christians in their 50’s have fine opportunities to do new things in Jehovah’s service, not all can. Some of them have poor health, and others care for aging parents or dependent children. -

In 1914, Jesus Christ—pictured as riding a white horse—was given his heavenly crown. He immediately went forth to complete the conquest of Satan’s wicked system. (Read Revelation 6:1, 2.) The descriptive prophecy in Revelation chapter 6 gave reason to expect that after God’s Kingdom was established, . . . (The Watchtower, January 15, 2014, page 28)
Yes, and in October 2914 Jesus will hand over a perfected human family to his Father, Jehovah.
Never mind, restauration to perfection will speed up (less than 900 years). -

Are you saying that you would rather I have died?” And she said, "Yes, I would prefer that you had died then to choose to leave."
How cruel of a parent to say such a thing. - It's the misguided belief that staying with the 'religion' equals doing 'Jehovah's will', and that you will not be resurrected to life in a 'new world' once you are on the outside.
Rather, die inside that belief system and get a second chance by miraculous resurrection.

Multipy that 5,460 times 2 = 10,920 hours.
Hard to believe, but the numbers don't lie:

Watchtower's "First Kings"
.
.
By chance or by design? They proceeded with the development of the site, and now they believe they have God's approval. Just wondering if they picked the site because of its street name?
For the "Glorious Eight" it sure must be a big ego booster to live there.
